The Friends page is for members of MART232 “Interactive Web II” who would like to try Divi, but don’t want to commit to the expense of a WordPress Theme.
They can use Divi to build the “Swallow Crest Farms” WordPress assignment and access it via this page. I’m the first customer, and OUR WordPress user name is christopherscolvin ,and OUR password is ********** (I’ll give it to you). In order to access MY assignment the link is https://divination.tech/friends/christopherscolvin. YOURS will be https://divination.tech/friends/yourname-swallowcrestfarms (or whatever you want to call it…) When you want to work on it, go to https://divination.tech/wp-admin, enter user name christopherscolvin, the password****** and find your site (right here) on the Friends page, and go to work. I expect there will be some unanticipated bugs to work out, this is a bit of an experiment.
If you want to become part of our Divi Nation developer team- you’ll get to be on our developers page, where you can describe which parts of the project you want to support- and customers can ask for you specifically. We hope to charge by the minute for tech support, Divi is very fast so we can charge a good price, make money- and the customer will feel he’s got a bargain, too. Quite simply, I saw the need for this because I needed something like this, and it wasn’t available- at all, at any price.
If you have purchased a WordPress domain, and want to put Divi on it as a theme, fill out the form below. We’ll get together and install the Divi theme on that domain, and then you’ll have Divi forever on that one website. If you want to use it on more websites, use it to build websites for others, remove me from administering your site…you’ll need to get your own Divi from ElegantThemes. I think it’s well worth the money.
As those of you who know me know- I’m not trying to be a professional website designer. My purpose in doing this is to encourage others to learn the fine points of Divi so they can help me with my Divi websites- one of which is newlibertarians.com which I hope to be a large organization in time, needing to hire lots of expert web writers, designers and number crunchers.
I have discussed this with Elegant Themes at length and I’m confident we’re breaking none of their rules. I bought it as the result of having been given free access to it by a former student at FVCC, I’m just bringing them customers. As far as they’re concerned, I’m building free Divi websites for my classmates, teaching them to use Divi. They don’t care how much I charge my clients. I’m hoping you’ll teach me how to use Divi!
